Timeline
Call for Abstracts 1 June - 24 Aug 2023
Review of Abstracts 16 Aug - 20 Sep 2023
Announcement of Results 24 Sep 2023
Early Bird Registration 1 May - 1 Oct 2023
Review Process
-
The conference accepts original work reporting on research, case studies or novel applications.
-
All abstracts will go through a blind peer review process and the decision will be final.
-
All accepted and presented abstracts will be published in Conference Proceedings.
-
Selected abstracts will be invited to submit their full paper that will be published in NAR Genomics and Bioinformatics, Bioinformatics Advances and Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology after the conference.
-
The main or presenting authors are required to register and pay for the conference before an invitation for oral presentation can be made. Please note that registration must be made by 6 October 2023.
Guidelines
-
The abstract can be submitted in a template-free format whose length does not exceed no more than 2000 words, excluding key words and key references.
-
Please describe and include as headings the introduction, methods, results, conclusion and discussion.
-
Please include tables, graphs, other types of images and key references no more than 4 pages in the abstract.
-
If absolutely necessary, submissions can be accompanied by supplementary material, similar to submissions to scientific journals. The supplementary material should be collected in a separate file that is appropriately marked and uploaded as an attachment on the paper submission page in EasyChair. However, we advise against adding supplementary material, in general. Supplementary material will be published on the proceedings site alongside the online version of the conference paper. We do not support supplementary material presented at any other than the publisher's site.
Presentation Format
-
Accepted abstracts will be presented in two formats: oral and poster.
-
Oral presentations are organised in the parallel sessions, and each presenter is given 20 minutes ; 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for the audience to ask questions.
-
Posters will be exhibited in a gallery during the conference; the main or presenting authors are highly encouraged to avail themselves during part of the extended lunch period to interact with the conference participants.
